Cynthia Tahhan, Undergraduate Associate
Cynthia Tahhan (she/her) is an undergraduate student majoring in Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Calgary. She grew up in the oil and gas rich city of Dubai to a loving, caring and supportive Syrian family and migrated to Canada in 2013. Her research interests include Canadian social, economic and political affairs, Asia, Latin America, Africa, Indigenous and settler relations. She has contributed to the development of Energy Stories Lab by completing an annotated bibliography of selected texts pertaining to the histories of Foothills County, and will be conducting archival work in the Glenbow Western Research Center.
